Internal wall Insulation (IWI) is a key component of the free insulation grant aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings. IWI involves installing insulation materials on the inner surfaces of external walls, effectively creating a thermal barrier that prevents heat loss and over all improves the energy performance of the buildings. This approach can help regulate indoor temperature, reduce the need for excessive heating, and subsequently lower energy builds. Through the ECO 4 insulation grant, eligible households can receive the support and funding to implement internal wall insulation, enhancing the living condition for residents while also contributing to environmental sustainability.
